Olicia Alvarez
LPC-Associate
Olicia is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, supervised by Stephanie Clayton, LPC-S, that is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, she offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts and emotions.
With a background in education and school counseling, Olicia’s years of experience working in the school setting bring a unique perspective to supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Such experience has deepened her understanding of the challenges students face academically, emotionally, and how those challenges impact the whole family. Her counseling style is warm, strengths-based, and client-centered. She incorporates evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with a client-centered approach.
Olicia believes that a strong and trusting relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy. She deeply values the time you spend together and is committed to walking beside you with empathy, understanding, and genuine care. Olicia works to create a space where you feel safe, truly heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.
